One of the hardest areas to target is belly fat. Many people, especially women, are in search of a flat stomach but no matter how many sit-ups or cruches they do, it seems impossible to get rid of that belly fat. While there are many things out in the market, every once in a while you get to a product that really does help you, but it often takes time finding it.

How to Lose the Last 10 Pounds
Boosting your metabolism is really important for weight loss. Some times it's helpful to take a supplement to get you started and then remember to work out and eat a balanced, healthy diet.
How to Lose 10 Pounds
Everyone is looking for a miracle way to lose weight quickly. Maybe it's because you're getting married soon and want to fit into your dress and look your best. Or maybe you just want to lose those last 10 pounds that you gained after having your baby.
Whatever the reason, many experts agree that there are some important things that you should keep in mind when losing 10 pounds.
1. Drink lots of water.
From my own experience after having two babies, I found that when I cut my alcohol intake, caffeine, and drank only water, it immediately helped me in my weight loss.
2. Don't weigh yourself everyday.
Your weight will fluctuate after a large meal, morning, and night. I know that there were times when I was excited to see that I had lost two pounds only to weight myself a few hours later and found that I had actually gained three! So weighing yourself too often is just torture and you don't want to do that. Instead, if you want to lose 10 pounds in two weeks, let's say, then weigh yourself the first day and maybe the 5th day and then at the end.
3. Avoid crash diets.
It's unrealistic that you're going to eat like a rabbit for the rest of your life! If you starve yourself from important nutrients and minerals, you're actually doing harm to your body in the long run. There are a lot of miracle pills and drugs that promise that you'll go from a size 10 to a size 4 in just a couple of days with no exercise and no diet. I definitely don't trust these get-rich schemes. It takes a lot of hard work and determination to achieve your weight loss goal.
4. Eat a light dinner.
You've heard the saying: eat a breakfast suited for kings, eat a dinner suited for beggars (something like that). Well it's true! After my second baby I was having a hard time losing those last 10 pounds. I love to eat. I'm not a salad-type girl. I like to eat meat, ribs, burgers, etc. Yet, for dinner I started to eat the following recipe:
put olive oil on a pan and cut slices of yellow onions and green bell peppers (or whatever veggies you like). Take a boneless chicken breast and saute it on the pan with the veggies. Serve it on a plate of baby spinach. Top it off with two slices of tomato over two slices of mozzarella cheese. For dressing use olive oil, balsamic glaze, and Parmesan cheese (a little bit).
I ate this for dinner for a week and it's incredible that I lost weight from just eating this light dinner. I didn't lose 10 pounds in a week, but I definitely felt the difference in my clothes.
5. Walk.
I find that walking is one of the best and easiest forms of exercise you can do. If you're super busy, like I am balancing a full-time job, two kids ages 4 and 1, and running my own ecommerce business mercibysofi.com, you still have opportunities where you can fit walking and exercising. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Park farther from the grocery store or shopping center forcing yourself to walk more. Go to the mall and park at the opposite end of the store that you're going to visit.
6. Consult your doctor.
I went for a physical before starting to exercise just to make sure that all systems were a go. Don't underestimate this final piece of advice (it really should've been number 1).
GOOD LUCK and be patient. Don't get discouraged and dwell with a bag of chips or even worse, a bowl of ice cream, right before falling asleep. NO NO NO. You can do it! Will power!
